About Canzuki
We sell judgement, not platforms.
Canzuki advises organisations on contact centre and customer engagement technology. What we sell is the judgement to tell you what to buy, what to build, what to leave alone and what to stop paying for. We don’t set out to sell you a platform, and where we do have a commercial interest in a recommendation, you hear it from us before you act on it.
How we work
Senior people. Doing senior work.
Occasionally a client asks us to build or procure what we advised — Paul’s background makes that a reasonable thing to ask. When it happens it is because they asked, it is priced separately, and it is disclosed before the recommendation, not after.
Canzuki engagements are delivered by experienced practitioners, not handed down through a consulting pyramid. Our experience spans contact-centre transformation, CCaaS architecture and migration, AI and automation, programmable communications, carrier and SIP infrastructure, data and analytics, vendor selection and complex technology programmes.
- We don’t set out to sell you a platform.
- Our recommendation never depends on you buying anything from us.
- If we stand to earn from what we recommend, we say so before you act on it.
- You can take any recommendation to another supplier, and we’ll help you do it.
The people
Rob Porter
Sales Director
CX strategy, transformation and technology.
Rob works with organisations to define practical customer experience and technology strategies before platform decisions are made — contact centre strategy, cloud communications, telephony, analytics and programme leadership.
Selected experience
- Led major Genesys Cloud and customer experience programmes for a global real estate management firm across APAC and North America, including platform strategy, telephony, analytics and regional integration.
- Worked with a leading global technology company on services aggregation and customer engagement initiatives.
- Supported a major Victorian university on customer experience innovation and CX-as-a-Service trials.
- Built and led UCA from an independent specialist business through its acquisition by Customer Science Group in 2022, remaining through a three-year earn-out leading client engagements and transformation programmes.
Rob starts with the organisation’s needs, pains and desired outcomes — then tests which technology, if any, is the right fit.
Focus
Vendor-agnostic advisory and transformation: modern contact centre and communications strategy, CPaaS and programmable voice, operating-model change, programme governance and technology simplification. His particular strength is identifying the real business problem, establishing the capabilities and constraints that follow from it, and building a defensible path from strategy through to implementation.
Paul Wilson
Co-founder and Director
CX architecture, contact centre infrastructure and AI delivery.
Paul is a CX advisor with twenty years of platform experience. For the last ten of them he has been the person organisations call when contact centre infrastructure isn’t working, voice quality is poor, integrations are failing, or AI has to be introduced without breaking the systems already in place.
Selected experience
- Senior Technical Architect at Avaya, leading digital change management and business improvement across an engineering group of more than 70, and moving delivery from waterfall to Scrum and CI/CD.
- Led a rationalisation programme consolidating 21 monitoring platforms feeding three ticketing systems, evaluating on-premise and cloud options to simplify operations, lift customer satisfaction and cut cost.
- Co-founded and built an analytics joint venture at UCA, integrating more than 130 data sources and CCaaS interaction data into a single view of the customer.
- Founded Kiwi Unified Communications in 2017, advising on CX improvement through analytics and agile delivery — the practice that became Canzuki in 2024.
Paul’s work is testing what a platform will actually do against the customer’s own systems, data and constraints — before the contract makes those constraints somebody else’s problem.
Focus
CX architecture, cloud migration and infrastructure design; contact centre compliance, SIP security and data protection. On an assessment, that means mapping which systems an automation has to reach, who owns them, where the customer record disagrees with itself, and whether the integration surface a vendor is describing actually exists — by testing it against real data rather than taking the description on trust.
Talk to us
A first conversation is short and costs nothing.
Its purpose is to work out whether we can improve the decision you are about to make, and to say so plainly if we cannot.
